Bringing Sara Shelton Mann to Lisbon was more than a production project; it was a reminder of why I do what I do.
When art, awareness, and structure meet, something shifts. People open up. The room changes. Life moves.
These experiences reaffirm my commitment to creating spaces where movement, creativity, and consciousness meet real, grounded work.
This is the essence of what I do through Chroma|Soma and my event production services, designing environments that make transformation tangible.
If you’re looking to create, host, or collaborate on embodied art experiences, workshops, or creative retreats, let’s talk.
In June 2025, Portugal hosted a rare and transformative movement retreat with legendary American choreographer Sara Shelton Mann, a pioneer in somatic dance and performance as spiritual practice.
I co-produced the Sara Shelton Mann Portugal 2025 workshop, a movement retreat where art, embodiment, and collaboration met.
Bringing her to Portugal was an honor and a powerful milestone for our growing community of artists exploring art and movement for self-discovery.
Together with Jakob Mate, I co-produced the retreat, leading the full production process, from concept and logistics to branding, photography, and video direction.
Our shared goal was clear: to build a container strong enough for depth, and flexible enough for flow.
Every decision, from the layout of the space to the timing of each session, was designed to support the body’s intelligence and the group’s process.
This collaboration reflected what I value most: producing experiences where art, embodiment, and human connection meet real transformation.
When this retreat came together, my own life was shifting.
Coordinating it became more than work; it became an act of grounding and resilience.
Through the week, I witnessed how movement and collective awareness hold us steady in chaos and how creating something meaningful for others heals the one who organizes it.
In Sara, I found an answer that I’m still integrating a few months later.

Over five immersive days, dancers and movers from several countries gathered to explore the body as a vessel for consciousness.
Each session blended rigorous physical research with stillness, dialogue, and shared creation.
The studio became a living ecosystem — alive with presence, risk, and collective intelligence.
Producing this retreat reaffirmed what I know to be true:
Art and movement are not separate from life, they are how we process it.
When structure meets flow, when professionalism meets sensitivity, something real happens.
That’s the essence of my work, crafting creative environments where people reconnect to themselves through embodied experience.
